The very best in British grown plants
Description - Heralding from Northern Europe, Asia and Africa. Tufted hair grass is evergreen and forms a neat tussock of narrow, leathery, dark green leaves to 60 cm long, with feathery panickles of silvery-purple flowers on arching stems in summer. This versatile plant is as much at home in the margins of a pond, providing it is not planted too deep. We recommend no more that 5-10cm of water above the top of the pot.
